2) Determination of pipeline: Calculate the critical settling velocity based on the conveying medium and select the appropriate pipeline diameter.
3) Calculation of pipeline losses: Calculate pipeline losses based on pipeline length and the number of bends and valves.
4) Calculation of pump head: Pump head = Vertical height difference from water surface to outlet + Pipeline losses + Outlet pressure + Safety margin (10%).
5) Determine the pump model based on flow rate and head.
6) Determine the installation method: Fixed or mobile.
